Thomas Buchan founded Fuud, a Vancouver meal-kit delivery service that sourced produce and meat from Fraser Valley farms and shipped ready-to-cook boxes across British Columbia. A filmmaker by background, he took the idea from a New Zealand subscription service and pitched Fuud on CBC's Dragons' Den. He demoed the product at TechVancouver in February 2017.
