In their words
Some of you might know me as the co-founder of the DMZ. About a year ago I started my own business called The Pivotal Point, where I'm helping to grow incubators all over the world — in academic institutions, in corporations, and also towns and cities.
There were about 10 of us that were chosen to go and find ideas from all over Canada. We were told we have the summer to come up with round tables and different ways of getting ideas to the government, creating a direct link.

Why was she on the TechTO stage in 2016?
Minister Navdeep Bains' office picked roughly ten people to gather ideas for Canada's innovation agenda over the summer of 2016. Fox was one of them, and brought innovation adviser Nathan Gunn with her to put three questions to the room.
What did she do before the DMZ?
She started a graphic design business, worked inside IBM's intrapreneurial network, and was creative director for the official Sydney Olympics website in 2000.
