About
A pothole report, a noise complaint, a broken streetlight: in a small municipality these arrive by phone, counter, email and Facebook, and then go missing. AccessE11 is the record that catches them — a citizen-request and relationship-management system built specifically for local governments too small to run a 311 operation of their own, routing each issue to a department, tracking it to resolution and reporting on the backlog. The company says it was created "starting in 2014" in response to municipalities wanting to modernise how they deal with residents, and is owned and operated by Civicentric, an Ottawa company. On its own numbers it is now used by well over 100 customers, more than 2,000 municipal users, and covers a database of 40 million residents. Neil Wainwright, an eight-time founder who bootstrapped the expense-management SaaS Nexonia and later built the personal-CRM app UpHabit, is its chief operating officer.
Backers
Not venture-backed as far as any public source shows. AccessE11 is owned and operated by Civicentric, an Ottawa company, and announces no funding round on its own site.
