About
AccessNow started in 2015 as founder Maayan Ziv's answer to her own problem: as a wheelchair user she had no way to know whether a place would let her in. The platform collects accessibility ratings from a global community of contributors rather than from businesses themselves, and has grown into an education and advocacy organisation alongside the map.
