Actual, formerly Atlas, builds the financial layer for hospitality, moving tips, running payroll and centralizing operations for restaurants and hotels. Afshin Mousavian started it after his own Toronto restaurant exposed how much back-office work sits behind tip division, distribution and compliance. Its tipping product went from $5.8M moved in 2024 to $100M in 2025, and it reached 100+ customers with no digital marketing spend, as Mousavian shared on the TechTO stage in July 2026.
