About

Joey Zwillinger co-founded Allbirds with Tim Brown in 2015 and led it through a 2021 IPO before stepping down as CEO in March 2024. Biologica, launched in December 2025, is his next company and his wife Liz's: a line of powdered daily supplements built around the argument that hormones drive women's overall health, and that a product for someone in her reproductive years should not be the same one sold to someone postmenopause. The three Essentials products target that split — mood, skin and PMS symptoms; irritability, sleep disruption and brain fog in perimenopause; cognition, bone strength, heart health and cellular function after. Addition led a $7 million seed round, joined by Greycroft, True Beauty Ventures, Hawktail and Good Friends. Zwillinger appeared at TechTO's Retail event in September 2020 to talk about reimagining the consumer experience, then representing Allbirds.

Backers
