About
Kenvue sells the everyday consumer health products that used to sit inside Johnson & Johnson: Tylenol, Neutrogena, Listerine, Aveeno, Band-Aid, Johnson's, Zyrtec, OGX and Rogaine among them. Its own framing is "the extraordinary power of everyday care" — science-backed products recommended by healthcare professionals, built on more than a century of brand heritage.
The name is deliberate: "ken", a word for knowledge used chiefly in Scotland, plus "vue", for insight. The company reports that its brands touch more than a billion people worldwide and that it holds the number one doctor-recommended position across categories including skin care, baby products and pain relief.
In the fiscal second quarter ended 28 June 2026, Kenvue reported its third consecutive quarter of net and organic sales growth — net sales up 3.0%, organic sales up 1.6%, diluted earnings per share up 9% to $0.24 — with chief executive Kirk Perry describing broad-based gains across every segment and region. Recent product news includes FDA approval of Tylenol with Naproxen, the first over-the-counter fixed-dose combination of acetaminophen and naproxen sodium, and a Zyrtec drug-free allergen shield spray.
Kenvue is also in the middle of a proposed combination with Kimberly-Clark. The two filed a joint proxy statement and prospectus with the SEC on 4 December 2025, amended 12 December and declared effective 16 December, and mailed it to both sets of shareholders that month. Kimberly-Clark announced a post-closing organisational structure and key leadership in April 2026. As of 5 September 2026 Kenvue still reports as an independent NYSE-listed company and both parties describe the transaction as proposed.
Backers
Publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker KVUE. A combination with Kimberly-Clark has been proposed and, as of 2026-09-05, has not been described as closed by either party.
