About

A Canadian mortgage file is mostly paperwork about paperwork — pay stubs, notices of assessment, bank statements, identity checks, lender-specific forms — and BrokerPlus is built to do that part. The broker still approves every meaningful decision; the software reads the documents, verifies what they say, chases the gaps and prepares the submission, then keeps working the book afterwards by surfacing refinance opportunities the broker already has and hasn't noticed. Swish Goswami, who co-founded Trufan at twenty and sold its successor Surf to Datacy in 2024, is chief executive; Amir Agassi is chief technology officer. BetaKit reported in June 2026 that the company had raised over $500,000 CAD in pre-seed funding from Michael Hyatt's family office, Cowie Capital, Tennr co-founder Trey Holterman and Bet99 co-founder Jared Beber, was operating in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia with three employees, and intended to stay under five. Goswami's framing of the opportunity in that piece: "There's money in their dealbook that's just leaking and they don't know about it." The company's own site now claims 70% faster time to submission, about 10.5 hours saved per file, and deployment to more than 200 brokers through Premiere Mortgage Centre.
