About

Caliber's premise is that sales enablement usually buys content when the problem is skill. It sells role-based paths — account executive, sales development, sales leadership — built as courses and certifications a rep works through, wrapped in what the company calls a revenue skill operating system: a platform for assigning, tracking and certifying the skills a revenue team is supposed to have, rather than a library of recordings nobody finishes. For larger customers it runs Revenue Academies and consulting alongside the platform, and it publishes The Caliber Show as a podcast. Its own marketing leans on the credibility of the people teaching: courses are taught by operators, and the customer logos on its company page include Adobe, Shopify and HubSpot. The company was founded as pclub.io and renamed Caliber. Founder and chief executive Chris Orlob spent six years at Gong.io, first in product marketing and then running sales, while the company grew from $200,000 to more than $200 million in annual recurring revenue and was valued at $7.2 billion; he had earlier co-founded QuotaSignal. Britton Broderick, a serial CTO and Elixir specialist, is co-founder and chief technology officer.
