About
Ross Rich was one of Stripe's first salespeople in 2015 and his brother Ryan an early sales hire at Google Cloud; Accord is the product of what both concluded about how B2B deals actually close. Its argument, delivered on the TechTO stage in 2023, is that companies build their CRM stages around their own sales process instead of around how the buyer buys, and then lose rigour on the deals in flight. A US$10 million Series A announced in January 2023 took total funding to about US$17 million. Rich was born and raised in Toronto and returned in 2023 after thirteen years away to build one of the company's go-to-market headquarters there.
