About

Capsule builds software that makes business video cheap to produce and hard to get off-brand. The first product was a community video tool: a company created a "capsule" around a question or theme, sent the link out, collected video answers and had Capsule automatically edit them together with music, lower-third graphics and personalization. The company has since moved upmarket into an AI video studio for enterprise marketing and content teams, positioning itself against tools like After Effects for motion design and templating the videos a business makes repeatedly. Champ Bennett founded it in 2021 with Russell Armand and Joseph Jorgensen, the team behind PHHHOTO and Hypno. Array Ventures led a $2-million pre-seed in January 2021 with Bloomberg Beta and angels participating, and later rounds took the company through a reported $7.75-million raise following a viral product demo and a $12-million Series A. Bennett appeared on TechTO's Founders & Funding in March 2021 with Array's Shruti Gandhi.
