About
Vicki Saunders founded SheEO in 2015 around a single idea she took from a newspaper headline: a million women each putting in a small amount, lending it at 0% interest, and expecting no financial return. Members — Activators — contribute money and then vote on which ventures get funded, so the allocation decision sits with the community rather than a fund manager. Loans are repaid over five years and recycled into the next round. The organisation rebranded to Coralus in 2022 and now operates in Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
