About

Corporate Knights publishes a magazine and a research operation built on the same premise: that if sustainability performance is measured and ranked publicly, capital markets respond. Its Global 100 ranking of the world's most sustainable corporations launched in 2005 and is released annually. Co-founder and CEO Toby Heaps coined the term "clean capitalism" in 2007 for an economy in which prices carry their social and ecological costs. He demoed the company's work at TechTO's FintechTO in February 2017.
