About

AuxMode is a Toronto YouTube multi-channel network founded in 2012 by Adam Rumanek. It manages the YouTube presence of creators, broadcasters and rights holders — channel strategy and monetization on one side, and content protection on the other, tracking where a client's video and audio are being used across the platform and claiming the revenue. Rumanek, who sold an earlier internet company in 2000, started it as YouTube's creator population outgrew the tools available to manage and protect it. Jessie Behan joined in 2015 from eight years in financial services and is president and COO; she presented at TechTO in March 2018 on the operational foundation a business needs in place before growth is survivable. The company says it represents more than a million assets on YouTube.
