About
Delta Edge is a newsletter, not a company with a product roadmap, and it is on this page because it is what Derrick Fung does now. He co-founded Drop, the Toronto rewards app, in 2015 and ran it as CEO until it went into receivership in December 2025; before that he sold the music startup Tunezy to SFX Entertainment in 2013 and traded foreign exchange at CIBC.
The newsletter's stated aim is to put institutional-grade inputs in front of ordinary investors: "My goal is to empower every day investors with data and tools normally reserved for Wall Street's top hedge funds." What it actually publishes is free market commentary, proprietary stock signals and earnings playbooks, with a paid tier layered on top. It is published on Substack at fungmoney.substack.com and carried over 3,000 subscribers as of September 2026.
Fung's two TechTO appearances, in 2017 and 2020, were for Drop rather than for Delta Edge, so this page carries no talks.
