About
DeepPoole Advisory works with established international fintech, paytech, PSP and payments companies as well as Canadian ones, and offers four things. Canada Market Entry assesses the Canadian opportunity and where a business could fit in it. Payments Navigation covers what real-time payments and broader payment-system access actually mean for an organisation. AI Application is about identifying "high-value AI opportunities in existing workflows" rather than adopting AI for its own sake. Execution Support turns the resulting decisions into work.
Engagements are sold as focused workshops, advisory sprints, ongoing support, or a fractional leadership seat.
The practice sits on Michele Poole's own record: more than twenty years in banking, payments and fintech, senior roles at Interac, CIBC, National Bank of Canada and AOL, a period as principal advisor to Payments Canada, and a spell as global head of customer experience at Buckzy Payments — the company she took TechTO's FintechTO stage for in May 2019.
