Diagram (also known as Diagram Ventures) was founded in 2016 in Montreal as a venture builder that co-creates companies in fintech, insurance and health tech, providing capital and hands-on company-building. It is anchored by Portag3 Ventures and sits within the Sagard platform, with Paul Desmarais III as co-founder and chairman. It has raised a series of funds led by Portag3, reported at more than C$100M across vehicles, and its co-founded companies include Nesto.
