About
Aisha Addo founded DriveHER after concluding that a ride-hailing option run by and for women addressed two problems at once — rider safety and the near-absence of women among drivers. She demoed the app as TechTO's Demo of the Month in January 2019. Addo also founded the Power to Girls Foundation, the Toronto non-profit that mentors Black and marginalised girls.
