About
EQ Works is the operating brand of EQ Inc. (TSXV: EQ), a Toronto company built on location behaviour data. Its geospatial analytics platform, LOCUS, mines movement and location data to connect digital activity with real-world behaviour, and it sells into advertising, automotive, insurance, media, retail and real estate. The TSX Venture Exchange named it one of the top ten performing technology stocks in its 2023 TSX Venture 50. In October 2018 EQ Works acquired Tapped Mobile, the Toronto mobile data and marketing firm co-founded in 2012 by Jed Schneiderman and Eric Shedletsky, which had spent over six years supplying mobile marketing to agencies and brands. Schneiderman became EQ Works' executive vice-president of growth and marketing and presented at TechTO's MarketingTO event in December 2018, on why the marketing industry needs to keep a community around it.
