About
Future Fertility applies machine learning inside the IVF lab. Its VIOLET and MAGENTA tools read high-resolution images of a patient's eggs and predict how likely each is to fertilize and develop, which turns an egg count into a quality assessment patients can plan around. Christy Prada, CEO since May 2022, put it plainly on the TechTO HealthTO panel in August 2025: an AI company solving a critical gap in the fertility process, which is understanding the quality of your eggs. She said on the same panel that in this field regulatory acceptance has to rest on clinical validation rather than claims. The model was trained on a proprietary dataset of more than 150,000 egg images.
Backers
Venture-backed; its Series A was reported as led by M Ventures, the venture arm of Merck KGaA, with Toronto-based Whitecap Venture Partners.
