Gordie

Gordie turns one recorded conversation into publishable content. An AI interviewer asks a short set of questions, human editors cut the answer into video clips, a podcast episode and an article, and the transcript is published so search engines and AI assistants can find and cite the speaker. About

Gordie sells one job: you talk once, and a week of content comes back. Its own description of the loop is "Just chat with our AI interviewer and get human-edited video clips, a podcast episode, and content you can use everywhere." The AI conducts the interview like a short podcast conversation, at the speaker's pace; the editing that follows is done by people, not generated.

The pitch is aimed at founders and experts who would otherwise hire a production team — the site argues that planning, producing and editing one interview into clips, podcasts and transcripts "can easily cost $500–$2,000+." A stated second purpose is retrieval: the published transcript is meant to help Google and AI assistants "find, understand and reference your expertise."

Leora Katz is the founder. She spent six years as a product manager at BuzzFeed and four at Toronto's Checkout 51 before starting Gordie, and took the TechTO Product stage in August 2020 — as a BuzzFeed PM, five years before Gordie existed.

Quick answers

What does Gordie do?

It turns one conversation into content. An AI interviewer runs a short session, human editors cut the recording into video clips, a podcast episode and an article, and the transcript is published so the speaker's expertise is findable.

Who founded Gordie?

Leora Katz, a product manager at BuzzFeed for six years and before that Director of Product at Toronto's Checkout 51. Brian Stern also describes himself as a founder of Gordie. The site itself names no team.

What does it cost?

The Studio plan is $19 a month for unlimited recordings with no editing included. Editing is bought in credits: $199 a month for one, $499 for five, $1,999 for ten. One credit returns five video clips plus the podcast and article.
