Healthcare Human Factors sits inside Canada's largest hospital network rather than beside it, which is the point — its designers work where the products are used. Its work spans ethnographic research, service and UX design, usability testing and FDA pre-market evaluation, for international medical technology companies and for startups around the GTA. Mike Lovas, its design director at the time, presented its service-design approach at HealthTO in July 2017.
