About
Inkblot Therapy was built to shorten the wait between wanting mental health care and getting it: clients answer a matching questionnaire, are paired with a counsellor, and meet by secure video, either individually or through an employer's benefits plan. Co-founder Arash Zohoor, a family and emergency physician, told the TechTO Health panel in May 2020 that the goal was to make mental health care as evidence-based and accessible as possible, and that 98% of care was delivered virtually across North America — a claim that landed differently two months into the pandemic than when the company started. Both founders came to it from loss: Vigeant lost a cousin to suicide, Zohoor lost patients. GreenShield acquired the company in 2021 and runs it as part of GreenShield Health.
Backers
