Lane was a Toronto workplace-experience platform that gave office tenants one app for building services, amenities and community. Co-founded in 2014 by Clinton Robinson and Kofi Gyekye, it reached 300M+ square feet before VTS acquired it in October 2021 for a reported US$200 million.

Lane started in Toronto in 2014 and grew into offices in New York and Denver, raising a US$2.5 million seed in 2019 and a US$10 million Series A in March 2020 led by Round13 Capital. By mid-2020 it covered 250-300 million square feet of commercial space across 15 cities with roughly 40 staff. VTS acquired it in October 2021; the product was folded into VTS Activate in May 2023 and the Lane brand retired.
