Founded by Alex Benjamin around 2015, Lendful was a fintech marketplace lender giving Canadians unsecured personal credit online. Backed by a roughly $15M investment from Ontario credit union Alterna Savings among others, it operated out of Toronto with offices in Vancouver and Montreal. Peoples Group (Peoples Trust) acquired the business in 2018.
