About
Leven Systems is a Canadian healthcare software and consulting company founded in November 2018 by John Leombruno. As Leombruno told the TechTO stage in 2019, it set out to fix the paperwork behind specialty-drug approval — the prior-authorization forms and faxes that lead many patients to abandon prescriptions they cannot afford or navigate. Its two technologies were a real-time prescription-benefit assessment that tells patients and prescribers at the point of care whether a drug is covered and what it will cost, and an electronic prior-authorization and enrollment system connecting prescribers, pharmacists, patient-support programs and payers. The company today positions itself around CRM design and optimization for pharmaceutical and medical-device manufacturers.
