About
Midday is the product; Lisa Health is the company behind it. Lisa Health spun out of SRI International in 2020 to build technology for menopause and healthy aging, and launched Midday in July 2022 in collaboration with Mayo Clinic.
The app's distinguishing feature is sensing rather than journalling. Users connect a wearable, and patent-pending algorithms detect and measure hot flashes and sleep disturbance instead of relying entirely on self-reporting, then feed that into personalised guidance built on Mayo Clinic's clinical material.
The launch came with a $2.5M seed round led by Radical Ventures, with SRI International, Broadway Angels and Mayo Clinic itself participating.
Maryam Jahed is Head of Product at Midday. She earlier founded Airo Health, a Y Combinator-backed wearable company for passive mental-health tracking, and spoke on the TechWaterloo stage in September 2018 as its founder.
Backers
