About
Mortgage Sandbox is a Vancouver real-estate matching platform founded by David Stroud, a former TD Bank banker and Accenture consultant. It began as a better home-affordability calculator, but Stroud pivoted to a match-finder that pairs buyers with pre-screened mortgage brokers and realtors based on shared values, which he described on stage as 'almost like an eHarmony' for real-estate professionals. The company also publishes real-estate and interest-rate insights and forecasts to draw and retain buyers. Stroud presented these lessons at TechVancouver in October 2018.
