About

Nourished Babe — styled lowercase as "nourished babe", and operated by HealthyMama Applications Inc. — was a maternal health app out of Vancouver. Co-founders Natalie Bisset (Chief Enthusiast) and Erin O'Neill (Chief Advocate) started it after running into the same problem during their own pregnancies: prenatal nutrition guidance was scattered and hard to act on. The iOS app tracked what a mother ate, evaluated it against recommended nutrient intake, suggested recipes to close the gaps, and paired that with weekly baby development content. The company made the New Ventures BC top 25 in 2016 and shipped a version 2.0 in May 2017 that added natural-language and portion-size logging. Neither founder was technical, which is what O'Neill spoke about at TechVancouver in February 2017. Nourishedbabe.com stopped resolving and no newer activity is traceable; the newest sourceable fact about the company is from 2018.
