Nxt Level You

Nxt Level You was a Vancouver software company Michelle Martin built to help people and teams keep improving together. She closed it after a health crisis, and that experience pushed her later work toward personal health data. Her earlier startup, ArtsAlly, was acquired by Kabuni Technologies in 2015.

About

Martin started as a journalist before moving into building companies. ArtsAlly, her second startup, was a portal for discovering and supporting local artists; Kabuni Technologies acquired it in 2015. Nxt Level You came next, a Vancouver software venture aimed at helping people and teams keep getting better together, and it is the one she talked about on the TechVancouver stage in October 2016. That talk, 'The Art of Self-Value', was built around the opposite of a win: investors she had wanted deemed an earlier company uninvestable, and she used the room to work through what a founder is actually worth and how to argue it. She closed Nxt Level You after a health crisis, and her work since has centred on personal health insight and early-stage health and wellness projects on the West Coast.

Backers

No funding is publicly reported. Martin told the TechVancouver room in October 2016 that investors she wanted had judged an earlier company uninvestable.
