Pace Pricing

The practice has a clear origin story, which Pace Pricing tells itself. Bill Wilson founded the mobile product studio MindSea in 2007; to sell its productised services the team built an internal quoting tool, clients kept asking for it, and that tool became SalesRight, the Halifax SaaS platform for presenting interactive pricing to prospects, which he co-founded in 2018. On SalesRight demo calls prospects would stop mid-conversation to ask whether their own pricing page was any good. He started answering, the calls got longer and the questions got harder, and the answering became the business. Pace Pricing positions itself against the gap it names on its own front page — a product that has evolved while its pricing has not — and validates proposed pricing with real buyers before a company ships it, rather than reasoning from competitors' pages.
