Paul Michaud started Proceve in 2021 with chief scientist Daniel Cornejo, aiming at a problem he had watched from the inside at IBM: enterprise projects that fail at roughly half the rate they are attempted. On the TechTO Talent stage in February 2023 he put the scale of the waste at about $500 billion a year against roughly $1.6 trillion in annual project spending. The company emerged from stealth with an enterprise-grade project management product and has since positioned itself around enterprise AI agents.
