Skinopathy started in August 2020 when Keith Loo and Dr. Colin Hong looked at how long Ontarians wait to have a skin concern examined. Its GetSkinHelp app lets a patient photograph a lesion and get an AI-assisted assessment that routes them to the right level of care rather than to the back of a dermatology queue. Loo has said publicly that short wait times are what the company prides itself on. He told the story on the TechTO stage in May 2025, including his son Logan's rare genetic condition, which was part of why he started it.
