About
Skylight launched in 2016 to make home renovation less opaque, matching homeowners with vetted architects, designers and contractors and coordinating the project in one place. Waslander raised its angel round eight months pregnant with her third child and closed a Silicon Valley seed round when the baby was ten months old. In September 2021 Opendoor acquired the Skylight team alongside Seattle's Pro.com, and both platforms were wound down.
