About

Lukas-Karim Merhi, a biomedical engineer, started the company in Vancouver as BioInteractive Technologies, building a wrist-worn sensor that could read hand gestures. It narrowed to musculoskeletal rehabilitation and now trades as Tenzr Health: a wearable sensor plus a mobile app that lets a clinician see whether a patient is doing their prescribed hand, wrist and elbow exercises between appointments. Co-founder Gautam Sadarangani is president and COO. Merhi presented three founder lessons on the TechVancouver stage in November 2018.
