Founded by Alex Barrotti in 2010, TouchBistro makes point-of-sale and payments software purpose-built for restaurants. It grew into one of Canada's larger vertical-SaaS companies, raising roughly C$321M from investors led by OMERS. Barrotti moved from CEO to Founder & Vice-Chairman as the company scaled, with Samir Zabaneh taking over as Chairman & CEO.
