About
Trax was co-founded by Azam Khan (CEO) and Simon Breslav (CTO), who both came out of Autodesk Research. Its platform covers bylaws, zoning, applicable law and building codes. On the TechTO stage in September 2026, Khan said the 12-person company has been bootstrapped since 2019 and that its automated code checker gives an initial read on a permit submission in about 15 seconds. Not to be confused with Trax Retail, the unrelated retail-analytics company.
