About

The community's design is its argument. Membership is by invitation and curated across Canada; the criteria are about the seniority and the scope of the role rather than a company's size, and the organisers are volunteers rather than staff. TrueNorthCTO states its own scale as 3,000+ senior technology leaders with a collective macroeconomic impact it puts at more than $200B. Its first principle, in its own words, is peer signal over noise — conversations shaped by practitioners with strategic accountability, not by vendors — and the format is built for the questions that are hard to ask in public: architecture and operating decisions, mentorship, and lived operating experience from people who have already made the same call. Bohdan Zabawskyj, who has been CTO at RLDatix, Quandl, Rypple, Redknee and Mercatus Technologies and co-founded the culture-analytics startup Fortay, founded it and is its lead organiser.
