About

VendorPM came out of a window-cleaning business. Emiel Bril started knocking doors at 14, grew it through high school and university to almost 10,000 homes a summer, and eventually sold to property managers instead of homeowners β€” office towers, condos, apartment buildings. What he found there was a market spending hundreds of billions a year on service vendors and running all of it on email, Excel and word of mouth. VendorPM launched in January 2020 to modernize that. It began as a marketplace matching property managers with vendors, then moved toward software as customers made clear that the industry runs on existing relationships, and that tooling those workflows beat sourcing new ones. The platform now covers vendor credentialing, eTendering and contract management.

Backers

Prudence led the $20M Series A in August 2022, with Navitas Capital, Alate Partners, Colliers, RXR and Bessemer Venture Partners, plus angels Dick Costolo and Mark Rose. Bessemer led the $6M seed. Bril has said Forum Ventures (then Acceleprise) wrote the first cheque and re-upped every round. Total raised since is not confirmed.
