About

Founded in Toronto in 2012, Venngage sells a browser-based design tool for people who are not designers — infographics, reports, proposals, charts, and now AI generators for the same formats. It never raised venture money. Its growth story is an organic-search one: Chief Growth Officer Nadya Khoja told the TechTO stage in May 2019 that the company spent almost nothing on ads and was instead driving over a million organic sessions a month, converting about 10% of visitors to leads and roughly 5% of those to sales.

Backers

Bootstrapped — no outside venture funding reported (assumption, from third-party company trackers rather than a company statement)

Some figures are founder-stated, not independently confirmed

Quick answers

What does Venngage do?

It is a browser-based design tool for non-designers — infographics, reports, proposals, charts and resumes from templates, plus AI generators for the same formats. Founded in Toronto in 2012.

Who founded Venngage?

Eugene Woo and Lucas Walker, in 2012. Woo is still CEO. Nadya Khoja, who spoke at TechTO for Venngage, was its Chief Growth Officer, not a founder.

How did Venngage grow?

Through organic search rather than ads. On the TechTO stage in May 2019 its Chief Growth Officer said the company was driving over a million organic sessions a month and 40,000–45,000 signups a week, converting about 10% of visitors into leads.
