About
WalkMe sells a digital adoption platform: a layer that sits on top of enterprise applications and walks users through workflows, spanning several systems at once, so organisations get value from software their staff have not been trained on. Mika Unterman spoke for the company at TechTO in June 2017. WalkMe later listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under WKME. SAP announced an agreement to acquire the company in June 2024 and completed the all-cash transaction on 12 September 2024 at a value of approximately US$1.5 billion, folding WalkMe into its Business AI portfolio. Chief executive Dan Adika framed the deal as giving the company the resources and customer base to widen its reach.
