About
Torres's third company takes the pattern he ran at Drift — put software where the customer conversation already happens — and points it at the people who keep customers rather than win them. Agency pulls from the systems a customer success team already lives in, email, Slack, support tickets and product usage, and assembles a single picture of each account that an agent can then act on. Its first product is called Kai, named after Torres's executive assistant. He co-founded it in 2024 with Luke Van Seters, who worked with him at Drift, three years after selling Drift to Vista Equity in a deal that valued it at US$1.2B. The Series A of US$20M was announced in November 2025, led by Menlo Ventures, with Sequoia, Felicis, Snowflake Ventures and Databricks Ventures taking part. Before Drift, Torres co-founded Performable, which HubSpot bought.
Backers
Menlo Ventures led the US$20M Series A announced in November 2025; Sequoia, Felicis, Snowflake Ventures and Databricks Ventures took part. Sequoia is also named as a backer on the company's own press page.
