About

Amity was founded in Toronto in 2012 by Paul Philp and Yanick Dufresne, at the point when customer success was becoming a defined function inside SaaS companies rather than an extension of support. Its software sensed changes in customer health, recommended actions and measured their effect; the Amity Lifecycle product combined real-time playbooks, workflow automation and customer intelligence. Philp spoke to teams at more than a thousand SaaS providers as the category formed, and brought the lessons to the TechTO stage in June 2015.
