Aquatic Informatics builds the data layer for water: software that ingests continuous readings from field sensors and lab results, corrects and validates them, and produces the records that hydrologists, utilities and environmental regulators rely on. Its customers are governments, water utilities and industrial dischargers with compliance obligations — the company describes more than 1,000 organisations using its products. Founded in Vancouver in 2003 and later backed by XPV Water Partners, it was acquired in July 2020 by Danaher's Water Quality platform, which was spun out in 2023 as the separate public company Veralto; Aquatic Informatics now operates as a Veralto business while keeping its Vancouver base.
