About
Array Ventures invests at pre-seed in enterprise software, and describes its current focus as founders building the future with AI, across AI agents, security, robotics, martech, edtech and revenue tooling. Shruti Gandhi founded the firm in 2016 after a decade as an engineer, including at IBM, and leads it as general partner; the firm has since added operators including Elias Torres, who founded Drift, and Katie Jansen. Its pitch to founders is go-to-market help rather than capital alone — it describes itself as a first BD hire and a route to a second wave of customers, backed by a network of several hundred advisors who also angel invest. Gandhi told TechTO in March 2021 that the firm's biggest focus is getting a technical founder from zero to one. Array led the $2-million pre-seed of Capsule, and Gandhi appeared on TechTO's Founders & Funding alongside Capsule's Champ Bennett — an investment she made despite a deck she describes as reading consumer rather than enterprise.
Backers
A venture fund rather than an operating company; its limited partners are not disclosed publicly.
