About
BridesMade let a bridal party rent bridesmaid dresses online instead of buying them — the founders' case being that the great majority of those dresses are never worn again. Mallory McKewen and Kaleah Baker built it in Waterloo region and came through Communitech's Fierce Founders bootcamp and the first cohort of its accelerator. McKewen took the TechWaterloo stage in September 2017 to talk about how she knew it was time to leave her day job for it. The company is no longer trading and its website no longer resolves.
