About
Carbon6 was built by acquisition. The founders saw that sellers on Amazon were stitching together a dozen separate tools — for reimbursements, keyword research, advertising, account health — and bought the tools instead, folding them into one suite. It acquired 16 companies in its first 16 months and raised an $88 million CAD Series A. Minneapolis-based SPS Commerce agreed to buy the company in January 2025 for $210 million USD, about $301 million CAD. Co-founder Kazi Ahmed spoke at TechTO in October 2024 about building through a hard market.
