Bridgit began as a communication tool between general contractors and the subcontractors on their sites — that is how Mallorie Brodie described it on the TechTO stage in August 2015, pointing at residential high-rises in Toronto. The product is now Bridgit Bench, workforce planning software; the company raised a $24M CAD Series B in 2021 and sells largely into the United States.
