About

Careteam Technologies builds software for integrated care: shared care plans that follow a patient across hospital, clinic, community and home, secure communication with patients and their families, remote monitoring, population analytics and interoperability with electronic health records. It was founded in Vancouver in October 2016 by Dr. Alexandra Greenhill, Jeremy Smith and Rob Attwell. Greenhill, a practising physician of more than twenty years, had co-led a $108M electronic medical record deployment reaching over 5,000 British Columbia physicians with Smith before starting the company. Careteam won the CMA Joule Innovation Award in 2018 and a Vancity Social Venture prize at the New Ventures BC Competition the same year, and its customers include hospitals and health organisations in BC and Ontario.

Backers

BCF Ventures, Right Side Capital, Globalive Capital and Atrium Ventures have invested, alongside angels Barney Pell and Ajay Agarwal, per a company announcement in January 2019.
