About
Figure 1 grew out of critical-care physician Joshua Landy's observation that doctors learn from each other's cases but had no safe way to share them at scale. The app lets verified health professionals post de-identified images and discuss them, and became widely used by medical students and clinicians across North America. New Jersey's Physician's Weekly acquired it in February 2024; in June 2024 the two were placed under a new parent company, Formedics. Landy took the HealthTO stage in 2017 and the TechTO stage in 2018, the second time arguing for a Hippocratic oath for the tech industry.
